Privacy policy
Laura's Laughs ยท last updated 19 September 2026
This policy covers the Laura's Laughs website and Lauras Laughs uploader, a private tool used by the channel owner to publish videos to the Laura's Laughs YouTube channel.
Who this applies to
The uploader is a single-operator tool. It is used only by the owner of the Laura's Laughs channel, to post to that one channel. It is not offered to the public, there are no user accounts, and no one else signs in to it.
What the tool accesses
When the channel owner authorises the tool, Google issues it a token limited to two permissions:
- Upload videos (
youtube.upload) โ to publish videos to the channel. - Manage the channel's videos (
youtube.force-ssl) โ to set titles, descriptions and scheduling on those videos, and to read their view counts.
That access is confined to the Laura's Laughs channel. The tool refuses to run against any other channel.
What is stored, and where
The authorisation token is stored on a private server owned by the operator, readable only by the system account that runs the tool. Alongside it the tool keeps ordinary operational records: the video files being published, their titles and descriptions, and the public view counts YouTube reports back.
No personal information about viewers or any other person is collected, requested or stored. The tool does not use cookies, analytics or trackers, and this website sets no cookies.
What is never done with it
- Nothing is sold, rented or traded.
- Nothing is shared with third parties, other than sending the videos to YouTube itself.
- Nothing is used for advertising, profiling, or training machine-learning models.
Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Keeping and removing data
The token is kept only while the tool is in use. The channel owner can revoke it at any time from the Google Account permissions page, which immediately ends the tool's access. Revoked or expired tokens are deleted from the server.
Videos on the channel
Videos published to Laura's Laughs are governed by YouTube's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy. If you appear in a video and want it removed, get in touch through the channel and it will be taken down.
Contact
Questions about this policy, or requests about a video, can be sent through the channel's About page on YouTube.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
